American Cancer Society – Global Luminaria Volunteer Project

light Up The Globe - Header Image

The American Cancer Society works across the globe to prevent cancer, diminish suffering, shape the global policy agenda, and catalyze a local response with cancer organizations around the world, giving them a platform to increase their visibility and generate cancer awareness within their country.

Check out the 32 countries where ACS' Global Relay For Life brings people together honor those affected by cancer and lights up the dark by displaying Luminaria bags that are decorated in remembrance of patients, survivors, and those we have lost. Help light up the globe by designing a Luminaria bag, selecting one of Global Relay For Life events, and log your volunteer hours to support ACS' global work.

No matter how much time passes, you are always remembered warmly and missed dearly. Your and mine favorite snow bells blossom in my garden every spring so a part of you is always with me.
