My father lost his life due to lung cancer... He was an eccentric smart wonderful scientist, that dedicated his professional life to researching cells/mitocondrias, educating 1st year medical students, and raising his 7 children. I miss him a LOT.

Daddy, You were our hero in our childhood and will forever be in our older years as well. Every time we think of you our little hearts fill up with pride. Though we will always miss you Daddy, you’ll forever be by our side. In laughter and in sorrow, through sunshine and rain, we know you’re watching over us until we meet again. I know you’re smiling down with pride over our boys, they instill everything that embodies their Dad. We love you and miss you Dwight.

My life has been ever changed by cancer and the amazing women it has taken. Too young, too soon.
